Anunayi Jeshtadi

Anunayi Jeshtadi is located right by the Hyderabad GPO, which is a very busy spot to be in every day. I started this because I wanted to have a place of my own to work out of in the 500001 area. The office is pretty basic, just the essentials like a couple of computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of files. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff going on at once, but we manage just fine. My morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in, though the dust from the road usually follows. I spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages that come through during the night. It is not the kind of job where you sit around doing nothing. There is always a list of things to get through before the day ends. Being near the GPO is handy for sending things out, which we do quite often. Sometimes I think about moving to a quieter part of Hyderabad, but then I would miss the convenience of being central. Most people who know me know that I prefer to keep things straightforward and not overcomplicate the tasks at hand. It’s just regular work for regular people, and that's the way I have always done it since the beginning. I like being my own boss even if it means working longer hours than I expected.
