You can find us over on Road No. 4 in the Srinivas Nagar Colony. We are pretty close to the Radhika Theatre, so if you know that area, we aren’t hard to spot. The shop isn’t very big, and honestly, it gets quite crowded with all the fabric rolls and measuring tapes lying around. My staff and I spend most of our time at the cutting tables or hunched over the sewing machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is a real pain, but we just sit outside or drink some tea until it comes back on. It’s a busy little neighborhood and there’s always someone popping in to ask if their dress is ready or if we can fix a zipper. We don’t have those fancy mannequins you see in the malls. We mostly just hang things on the wall or on the back of the door. The floor usually has threads and small scraps of cloth everywhere by the time evening rolls around. We try to sweep up, but it just gets messy again the next morning. It’s just how it is when you’re working with clothes all day. Being near the theatre means there's always a bit of noise from the traffic and people, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a decent place to work, even if it’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders to finish. We just do our best to stay on top of the work.
