Ambika Handlooms

Our place, Ambika Handlooms, is located at H. No. 11-14-134/1/1 in Sirinagar. It’s right in the L. B. Nagar area, near the post office. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot than a big commercial zone, which we like. We’ve been here for a good while. The address is a bit long, but once you find the house number, you’re there. We work with handlooms, so there is always the sound of work going on throughout the day. It’s not a quiet office environment at all. There are threads and fabrics scattered around most of the time. Ambika Handlooms is run by just a few of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the city. We just want to do good work from our space in Sirinagar. L. B. Nagar is a busy part of town, but our little corner is a bit more settled. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time with the narrow streets, but they usually figure it out after a few tries. We spend our days checking on the looms and making sure everything is looking okay. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the place where the actual work happens. People who know us just come straight to the door. It’s a practical setup. We've lived and worked in this area for years, so we know everyone around the L. B. Nagar post. It’s home for us.
