Afshan Beauty Parlour & Tailoring Center

You can find us at Hno 17-7-619 in Chaderghat. We are right in the Kotla Ahsanullah Khan area, which is a busy spot. If you are looking for the Aroosa Function Hall, we are just opposite that. It’s a handy location. We do two things here, beauty work and tailoring. Having the tailoring center alongside the parlour keeps us very busy. There is always the sound of a sewing machine running in the back. Hyderabad can be a loud city, and Chaderghat is no exception. We have fabrics piled up in one corner and the beauty station in the other. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but it works for us. People come in to get a suit stitched and then decide to get their hair done too. It’s a practical setup. Most of our clients are women from the local neighborhood. We’ve known some of them since we first opened. The light in the shop is good for sewing during the day. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment. Everything is done by hand or with the older machines we’ve had for years. It’s a lot of work, but we like staying busy. Sometimes we stay late to finish a dress for a wedding at the hall across the street. It feels good to see the work finished. We have been in this spot for a long time and we know the neighbors well.
