Adarsha Dress Palace

Our shop is located at 3-4-376/2/2, on the first floor upstairs in Kachiguda. We are situated right behind the Venkataramana and Padmavathi Cinema Theatre. It’s an interesting place to be because you can always hear the music and the whistles from the movie fans throughout the day. We have been here for quite some time, and the stairs leading up to our place are a bit worn out now. Inside, it’s a bit like a maze with all the racks of dresses and outfits. We try to keep things organized by color, but it usually gets messy after a busy Saturday. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some plain walls and the clothes themselves. We spend a lot of time folding and refolding things that people have tried on. The ceiling fan is quite old and wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting. We have a small counter where we do all the billing by hand in a big notebook. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there’s usually someone’s cousin or uncle sitting in the back having a chat. We aren't trying to be a big mall store. We just like having our regulars come in and find something they like for a good price. The theater crowd brings a lot of life to the street, even if it makes the parking a total mess for the staff.
