A R Mahesh Hair Cutting Saloon is located right at the Narayana Guda X Roads. Our shop is at Shop No 3-4-692, which is right beside the Vijaya Bank. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and something happening right outside our window. We have a few chairs and some big mirrors, just like any other local barber shop you would find. The place usually smells of talcum powder and aftershave. We have been cutting hair here in the Narayanguda area for a long time. Most of our regular customers are people who live right around the corner or work at the bank next door. We do not have any kind of fancy booking system or app. You just walk in, sit down on the wooden bench, and wait for your turn. Sometimes we have the radio playing or the news on a small TV in the corner. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work on a haircut. It is a simple shop with no frills. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, but we make sure to sweep it up after every customer is done. We are not trying to be a high-end salon. We just give regular haircuts to regular people in the neighborhood. It is a steady business and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every month. The bank staff often pops in during their break.
