Pokarna Limited

We’ve been based out of Manikya Nagar for some time now. If you know the Chintal area, we are right in that lane beside Allied Enterprises, just off the H.M.T. Road. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, and there is always something going on outside the window. The trucks on the main road make a lot of noise. Inside the office at H.No: 6-381/1, though, things are usually a bit more settled. Pokarna Limited isn't a huge operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep things moving. Much of our time is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The walk from the main road can be a bit dusty in the summer, but it's a short trip. Most of us bring our own lunches and sit together in the small break area we set up in the back. It’s nothing special, just a table and some old chairs. No marketing department exists here to tell us how to talk to people. We just answer the phone and do what needs to be done that day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We like being in Chintal because it’s easy for most of us to get to work. It feels like a real community where people actually know each other.
