Our office is located in Flat No.201 at Vijayabagh Apartments, which is right in the heart of Vijaynagar Colony here in Hyderabad. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood most of the time, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the drawings. Being in Indiranagar means we’re close to a lot of our projects. Aakruthi Architects started out small and we’ve kept it that way mostly. We spend our mornings drinking tea and going over floor plans. Sometimes clients come by the flat to look at samples or talk about their new house builds. It’s not a big corporate office with a receptionist; it’s just where we work and keep all our files. We deal with all sorts of building designs, from small renovations to bigger homes. The parking around the apartments can be a bit tight sometimes, so we tell people to watch out for that. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad-57 for a good while now. It’s a decent place to be based. We don’t really do fancy presentations, just sketches and technical stuff that gets the building built. Usually, you’ll find us surrounded by rolls of paper and rulers. We enjoy the process of seeing a sketch turn into a real wall. If you’re in the colony, you probably know the building. We’re just local people doing our bit to help folks get their houses sorted out without too much fuss and unnecessary expenses.
