Avalon Aviation

Avalon Aviation is run out of a house in Kothamangalam, specifically the Parappattu house where Elson Elias stays. We are located in Kottappady P O, which is a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with the Ernakulam district. It’s a quiet area, mostly houses and trees, not like the busy city centers you see in Kochi. We started this because there was a need for it around here, and we’ve just kept it going from the home office. It’s not a big glass building with a reception desk; it’s more of a personal setup. We handle a lot of the aviation paperwork and coordination from our desks here. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty because of the rain, but we get the work done eventually. Most of the people who contact us are looking for help with training or getting into the industry. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and replying to emails when we can. The neighbors know us, and we try to keep things low-key. It’s a practical way to work, being right here in the community. We’ve had people come from all over the district just to chat about how to get started in flying. Sometimes the dog barks during phone calls, but people usually understand how it is when you work from home.
