Ananth Residency. Hubli

We are situated over at Ananth Residency in Hubli. The exact spot is Ganesh Peth, on Goods Shed Road. If you know Hubli, you know that Goods Shed Road is always busy with trucks and people moving things around near the railway. It’s a loud, energetic part of town. Our place is owned by Smt. D.G. Panchangmath, and we’ve been here for quite some time. We don’t have a big corporate team running the show. It’s mostly just us making sure the rooms are clean and the guests have a place to sleep when they arrive from the station. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and out or making sure the water heaters are working properly. The building has a lot of history to it and isn't one of those new glass boxes you see in the bigger cities. We like the local feel of Ganesh Peth. You can find almost anything you need just by walking down the street. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. We’re just a local residency trying to provide a decent place for travelers to stay while they are in Karnataka. Most of our days are spent talking to regulars or fixing little things around the property. It’s simple, steady work that keeps us on our feet from morning until the late evening.
