Working in Howrah has its own pace compared to the main city. It can get pretty busy on the road outside, but once you’re up in the office, it’s a bit quieter. We do software work, mostly coding and testing things out. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small group trying to get things right. The office is usually filled with the sound of keyboards clicking. We’ve got some old furniture and some new stuff, a bit of a mix. We don’t spend much on making the place look like a showroom because we’d rather just focus on the software. Lunchtime usually involves everyone sitting around together talking about random things. It’s a pretty laid-back environment most days, unless there’s a big deadline. Then things get a bit more serious. We don’t use any fancy management styles. We just talk to each other and figure out who needs to do what. It’s been working for us so far. We like being based in Howrah; it feels grounded. We’re just regular people doing technical work the best way we know how to do it.
