Shilpa Innovation is based in Village Gharbhanga, Basudevpur, right near the Belkulai High School. Our office is in a quiet area compared to the city, but it still gets busy when the school bell rings and the kids are all over the road. We have a simple setup here in the village. Most of our work involves managing projects and looking at technical drawings or plans. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or expensive furniture. We have sturdy desks and old filing cabinets that have been with us for years. Being near the high school in Belkulai is helpful for the locals to find us. We spend a lot of time discussing things over tea and trying to solve problems that come up during the day. Sometimes the power is a bit patchy, so we have to plan our work around that. The people who work here are mostly from the local area, so we all know each other well. It’s a very grounded environment. We don’t go in for big talk about the future; we just focus on what needs to be done today. Whether it’s checking on a delivery or finishing a report, we just get on with it. It’s a peaceful spot to work, especially in the mornings before the heat sets in. We’re just a local company doing our bit in the village.
