Vasnnu Resort is based out of a small lane in Howrah, specifically over at 20/20 Ola Bibi Tala. If you know the 1st By Lane, that’s exactly where we are located at LP 228/6. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze getting through some of these streets, but that’s just how this part of Kolkata is. We started this company to manage things here and it’s been a learning process for all of us. There are no big offices or glass buildings here, just our spot. We spend a lot of time just dealing with the usual stuff like maintenance and talking to the neighbors. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult on the road, but we get by. The team here is small, mostly people from around the area who needed a job. We don’t go for all that high-end talk you see in brochures. It’s just a place. We handle the bookings and try to keep the place tidy. Sometimes we run out of tea or the internet acts up, but we fix it when we can. Working in Howrah means you have to be ready for anything. It’s a busy life here. We’ve been here for a while now and we know the street pretty well. We aren’t looking to change the world, just keeping the resort stuff running as it should. It’s not a complicated story, just a business on a busy lane. We do our best.
