Sona Enterprise

Sona Enterprise is situated right in the Maitapukur Bazar area, along Mossat Road in Jagatballavpur. Being in a bazaar means we are surrounded by all kinds of other shops and stalls. It’s a very loud and active place to work. We have people coming in and out all day long asking about products or just passing through. Our space is filled with inventory, often stacked pretty high towards the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze to walk through if we’ve just had a delivery. We spend our time managing the stock and talking to customers who walk in from the market. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find air conditioning or fancy carpets. The floor is just hard tile that we sweep every morning. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping things down. In the monsoon, the rain hits the metal parts of the roof and makes it hard to hear anything else. We've been part of this market for a while, and we like being in the thick of things. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we just get on with it. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just open the shop and help the people who come to us with whatever they are looking for.
