Nicco Internet Ventures Ltd is located over at 134 Salkia School Rd in Howrah. If you know the area, you know how busy it can get with all the traffic coming off the bridge. Our office is in an older building that has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. We are right in the middle of everything, which is convenient but also quite noisy. You can hear the school bells and the constant honking from the street all day long. Inside, the walls are painted a pale yellow and we have several rows of desks crammed into the space. There are wires running along the floor and stacks of old tech magazines in the corner. We aren't the kind of company that cares about looking shiny and new. We focus on our internet work and making sure things are working correctly for our users. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we all just take a break until the generator kicks in. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We don't have a big HR department or fancy titles. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so it feels like a small family. We know the local tea stall owner by name and he knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s a very local Howrah way of doing things, and it suits us just fine.
