Mechanical Engineering Company

Our shop, Mechanical Engineering Company, is tucked into 14/1 Tincouri Nath Bose Lane over in Salkia. If you’ve ever walked down these lanes, you know they can be pretty narrow and busy with people and carts. We have a modest setup here, nothing like those giant factories you see in the industrial parks out of town. It’s mostly just a collection of tools, some heavy machinery, and a lot of scrap metal tucked into the corners. The floor is stained with oil from years of work, and the walls have seen better days, but the equipment still does exactly what it’s supposed to do. We spend a lot of time tinkering with engines or fixing mechanical parts that people bring in from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, or the rain makes the lane outside a bit muddy, but we keep at it. It’s just a handful of us working here, and we’ve all got grease under our fingernails most of the time. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually find us because they heard about us from someone else in Salkia. It’s a loud place when the grinders are going, so we don't do much talking while we're working. We just concentrate on the metal and making sure everything fits together the way it should before the customer comes back to pick it up later.
