D'Flex Mech

D'Flex Mech is located at 323, Belilious Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s one of the oldest industrial streets you can find. The buildings around here have a lot of history and character. Our shop is quite traditional. We do mechanical work and manufacturing of certain metal parts. It’s a very busy street with a lot of handcarts and trucks moving back and forth all day long. The noise is something you just get used to after working here for a week or two. Our workshop floor is dark with years of oil and heavy use, which we think shows we’ve been working hard. We don't have any air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that hum in the background. We mostly work with metal and manual lathes. It’s a dirty job, and we usually go home with grease under our fingernails every evening. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person to talk for us. Most of our customers have been coming to us for decades. They know our families and how we work. It’s that kind of place. Sometimes we sit out on the front steps for a quick tea when things are a bit slow. But usually, we have plenty of orders to keep us busy. The machines we use are old but they are solid and reliable. We like the grit of Belilious Road.
