Down in Ichapur, specifically in the South Santragachi part, you will find our workshop for Stuc Mech Engineering. It is an industrial kind of setup where we spend most of our time working with various mechanical parts and machinery. We didn't pick this location for its looks; it’s just a practical place to get heavy work done without bothering too many people. The area around South Santragachi is full of small units like ours, so we fit right in with the local noise and activity. We do a lot of repairs, fabrication, and general engineering tasks that come through the door. It is often greasy and loud inside, but that is the nature of the job we do. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the shed and find one of us working on a lathe or a welding project. Ichapur has been a good home for the business because the suppliers are nearby and it is easy to move goods in and out. We take on whatever mechanical jobs the local factories or individuals bring to us. It is honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We have some old machines and some newer ones, but everything gets used daily. It's just a bunch of us getting things fixed and built as they come in.
