Jagannath Sah

This is Jagannath Sah, located on G C M Lane in Howrah, 711101. G C M Lane is a bit narrow, but we are right there. It is a general shop where we keep the essentials. We don't have a lot of space, so we use every inch of the walls to hang things. You'll find things like pulses, sugar, tea leaves, and sometimes even small hardware items if we have them in stock. We don't use any loud music or bright signs. Just a small board with the name on it. It’s a quiet business, mostly serving the families who live in the lanes around here. We know who likes which brand of tea and who needs their flour ground a certain way. It’s that kind of place. We don't really look at what the big stores are doing. We just focus on our own counter. Every day is pretty much the same, which is fine with us. We get the shipments in, we unpack them, and we sell them. It is a simple cycle.
