Indushree Krishi Udyog Private Limited is based out of Howrah, right on Ram Kumar Ghosh Lane. If you know this part of West Bengal, you know how crowded and busy it gets. We are at number 2, and it’s a spot where there is always noise from the street. We work on the agriculture side of things, even though we are in a more built-up area. It’s a lot of coordinating with people from the outskirts who are actually doing the planting. Our day usually starts with tea and a look at the ledger. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who come in from the nearby districts. Howrah is a hub, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is a bit old, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We just focus on the Krishi Udyog, which is the farming business. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows and keep going. It’s honest work and we have been at it for some time. We aren't some giant company from the city center. We are just local people trying to make the agriculture business run smooth for the folks we know. Every day is different, depending on what the farmers need or what the market is doing. We've been here long enough to know the neighbors.
