Our place is at No. 30 Munshi Sk. Toybulla Lane, which is close to the Botanical Garden area. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here, tucked away in the lanes. We handle various agroproducts, mostly things that come in large bags or bulk shipments. The lane is usually busy with people and deliveries, so there’s always something to see out the front door. We’ve got a small, dedicated team here at Ahamad Agroproducts. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of what comes in and making sure the storage area is kept right. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, moving heavy stacks around to make space for new arrivals. The air around here is actually quite nice because of the gardens being so close by. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a fancy reception. It’s just an office space and some rooms for the products. We’ve got old wooden shelves and desks that have been here forever, but they still work fine. We talk to local farmers and traders mostly. It’s all about getting the goods from one place to another without a lot of unnecessary fuss. We try to keep things as simple as possible. If there's a problem with a shipment, we just deal with it. We aren't big on fancy talk or corporate meetings, just the daily work that keeps us all busy until closing time.
