Our place is in Vikram Vihar, over in Block EF. We’re in Flat 105, so it’s easy to get to without having to deal with stairs or elevators too much. Howrah is always a busy, crowded place, and the area around our office is no different. There’s always someone shouting outside or a horn honking, but once you close the door, it’s quiet enough to get some work done. We’ve got a lot of inventory stacked up in the spare room because we handle a lot of different tech parts. The flat isn't really designed to be an office, so it has a bit of a homey feel, even with all the wires and screens everywhere. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don’t need to say much to know what needs to be finished. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. Sometimes we have clients come by to drop off equipment, and they usually end up sitting on the sofa in the front room while we check their paperwork. It’s a very grounded way of working. No one wears a suit or tries to act important. We’re just here in 711102, doing the job as best as we can every day.
