Down here on Ananda Dutta Lane in Howrah, it’s a bit of a maze. Our address is 49 4 Joy Narayan Babu, and we’ve been operating Consim Info Pvt Ltd from here for some time. Howrah is a crowded place, and our street is no different. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Inside, it’s mostly computers and people working on different information services. It’s not a big corporate tower, just a regular space where we get things done. We handle a lot of data and web-related stuff. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is annoying when you’re in the middle of something, but we have backups. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to get here. The office is a bit cramped with all the desks and wires, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a group of people who know their way around a computer and a database. We have lunch together sometimes, usually something from home. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the noise of the street outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks we have for the day. It’s been our base for a while now, and we’re quite settled into the rhythm of the lane. We don't have fancy titles, just a lot of work that needs finishing.
