Star Mark Hotel and Resorts is located right on G T Road in Champdani. If you know the area, it’s near where Zarina Bibi stays. We aren't trying to be the most expensive place in Hooghly, just a spot where someone can sleep and eat without much fuss. The road outside is always loud with trucks and cars, but inside we try to keep things quiet enough. It’s a private company, but really it’s just a few of us making sure the rooms are swept and the linens are changed. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, but we fix it pretty quick. We have some space for people traveling through for work. It’s not a vacation spot for movie stars. It’s more for people who need a solid bed for the night. We've been at this for a bit. The address is LP 30/24/189/1, which is a bit of a mouthful if you’re trying to find us on a map. Just look for the sign near the main road. We don't have a big fancy lobby with fountains. There's a desk, some chairs, and someone usually around to help with bags. We provide food that tastes like it was made in a normal kitchen, nothing too spicy or strange. It’s just a business we run.
