I started this place at Dhasabhujatala because it’s where I live and know everyone. Barasat is changing but we stay the same here. Most days involve just keeping up with whatever people need when they walk through the door. It gets a bit busy in the evenings but that is fine. I don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things get done right. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we still open up. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years now. People usually find us easily enough near the temple area. I don’t go for fancy advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth works well enough in this town. It is mostly about being here when someone has a problem to solve. We handle a variety of small tasks every day. My desk is usually covered in papers and old notebooks. It’s a simple setup really. No one wears a tie here. We just work. If you come by, you’ll probably see me sitting out front or talking to one of the neighbors. We try to be fair with everyone who stops by. It’s not a huge operation but it keeps us busy from morning till late. The local tea stall guy knows our schedule better than we do. That’s just how it goes here in the district.
