Balaji Udyog

We have our place, Balaji Udyog, over on T.N. Mukherjee Road in the Mrigala area. We are situated right near Sindu Hardware, so if you find them, you have pretty much found us too. This part of town is a bit more relaxed than the city center, but it still gets busy enough. We focus on our production work and managing the day-to-day tasks that come with running a small business. The building we are in is older, and it has some character to it. We spend most of our time out on the floor or checking the inventory. It is a dusty kind of job, and we usually have our hands full with one thing or another. There is no corporate hierarchy here. We all just pitch in where it is needed, whether that is loading a truck or answering the phone. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it is quiet for hours. We like it that way because it gives us time to catch up on maintenance. Mrigala is a good neighborhood to work in, and we know most of the other shop owners on T.N. Mukherjee Road. We don’t go for anything fancy. We just provide what people need and try to be fair about it. My son is learning the ropes now, and he’s getting better at spotting the different grades of materials we use. We just keep things moving along.
