If you walk down Bandel Station Road, you’ll find us near the Bandel Guruduar. Mk College Of Distance Education isn't a traditional campus with big fields or dorms. We operate out of a building in a very busy part of Hooghly. Being so close to the station means there is a constant stream of people and the sound of train whistles in the background all day long. Most of the people who come to see us are working adults or students who can't attend regular classes, so the office stays quite busy with people asking about forms and exams. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes, especially when the new session starts and everyone arrives at once. We have shelves full of folders and study materials stacked up against the walls. The West Bengal heat can be a bit much in the small rooms, but we keep the ceiling fans on high. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have a fancy reception desk; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the main table. The area around us is full of tea stalls and small shops, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack. We’ve been at this location for a while, helping people figure out their distance learning paths without any fuss. It’s a simple operation run by a few people who know the local system well.
