Our office is on the second floor of Nandlal Bhaban, which is on T.N. Mukherjee Road in Hooghly. It is an older building in the Bonder Bill area. We run Kcl Resorts LLP from here. It’s not a very big space, but it’s where we handle all the paperwork and planning for our resort work. The road outside can get pretty busy with local traffic, especially near the market times. We’ve got a small team here who mostly focus on managing the different properties we look after. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and sitting at desks dealing with bookings or maintenance issues. It is a bit of a climb to the second floor, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses. We’ve been at this address for a bit and people around here know us. We aren't trying to be something we're not; we just manage resorts and try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the internet is slow or the rainy season makes the walls a bit damp, but that’s just how things are in this part of Hooghly and Howrah. We spend our afternoons catching up on emails and talking to the staff at the different sites. It’s a steady job and we just keep at it day by day.
