Eagleton-The Golf Resort,Bangalore

Our office is located in Mukherjee Goli, over in Champdani. It’s in the Baidyabati area of the Hooghly district, West Bengal. It’s quite a way from Bangalore, but this is where we do our administrative work for Eagleton. The pin code is 712222. It’s a traditional neighborhood with narrow lanes and houses close together. Our office is just a simple room in a regular building. We don't have a big sign outside. Most people around here just know it as the place where we work on the computers all day. We deal with the paperwork and the bookings for the resort from here. It gets very humid in the summer, and we usually have a couple of pedestal fans blowing. We aren't part of some big corporate machine. We are just a small team of local people. We’ve been in this goli for a long time. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to make sure all the numbers add up and the guests' details are correct. It’s a lot of typing and checking lists. We like the work because it’s steady. If you are looking for the fancy golf course, that’s in Bangalore, but the heart of the paperwork is right here in Hooghly.
