Our building is a simple one, and we've been operating here for some time now. We started this because we noticed people needed a place to stay when they were visiting for work or family events in the 712248 area. It isn't a fancy hotel like the ones you see in the center of Kolkata. We just have some rooms and a small area for guests. We don't have a big team or a corporate office. It's just a few of us who live nearby and manage the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time cleaning, talking to guests, and making sure everything works as it should. Sometimes the street gets blocked because of the market, but that's just how it is in Rishra. We don't use any slick marketing language because we aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just provide a bed and a roof for the night. Most people find us through word of mouth or just by seeing our sign as they walk down the lane. We still use a big paper ledger to keep track of our bookings. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We just try to keep the place decent and be honest with everyone who walks through the door.
