Raslod Primary School

Nand Vihar is a nice little pocket in Haridwar, and that is where you will find this primary school. It is not a very large place, but it serves the families living in the 249407 area quite well. Every morning, the street gets busy with little kids walking in with their heavy bags. We have a few classrooms and a small area where they can play during their break time. The walls have some drawings on them that have faded over the years, but they still make the place look a bit more cheerful. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few teachers who handle multiple subjects. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. The kids don't seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time on the basics like reading and writing. The parents often stop by the gate to chat with the teachers after school is over. It feels more like a small community than a formal institution. There are some trees nearby that provide a bit of shade in the afternoons. It is just a simple school for younger children who are starting out. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone is present. There are no big ceremonies or anything, just the regular routine of a local primary school in a quiet neighborhood like Nand Vihar. We like the morning sun here.
