Little Mary Pre School & Day Care

We are over at A-51 Arihant Vihar, in the Vishnu Garden area of Kankhal, Haridwar. Our place is basically a converted house, which makes it feel more like a home than a school for the little ones who come here. The 249408 neighborhood is mostly quiet residential streets where people know their neighbors. We have painted some bright colors on the walls to make it look cheerful, though some of the paint is starting to chip near the bottom where the kids kick their shoes. There is a small outdoor space where we have a couple of plastic slides and some sand, though it gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through Kankhal. Inside, the rooms are filled with soft mats, baskets of toys, and piles of spare clothes for accidents. The kitchen is always busy around mid-morning when we start getting the snacks ready. It can get pretty loud when everyone starts crying at the same time, but usually, it’s just the sound of nursery rhymes playing in the background. We don't have a big corporate management team; it’s just a few of us who live nearby and spend our days wiping noses and helping kids learn how to share. The gate stays locked for safety, so parents have to ring the bell and wait for one of us to come out. It’s a simple, busy life here in Arihant Vihar.
