Brightminds Pre School

Our little school is located over in Raja Garden on Laksar Road. We have a small building that we use for the children. Haridwar is a busy city, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the people walking by outside. Inside, it is a bit different. It is mostly filled with small chairs, toys, and books for the toddlers. We started Brightminds Pre School because the families in this part of town needed a place for their kids during the day. It is not a huge place with fancy equipment. We have a few rooms that we painted with some bright colors, though some of the paint is starting to peel off near the floor. The kids run around a lot and make a mess with the crayons. We spend our time teaching them the basics and making sure they eat their lunch. Sometimes the sink in the back room leaks, and we have to put a bucket under it until we can get it fixed. There is a small yard in the back with some dirt and a few old swings for them to use. Parents drop them off early and pick them up after work. We know most of the families by name since we’ve been here a few years. It is a very simple setup without any high-tech gadgets. We just try to keep the kids safe and busy until their parents come back.
