Maajiagro Producer Company Limited

Maajiagro Producer Company Limited is a local business based in Krishan Nagar, Hardoi. We operate out of the home of Vimla Singh and Shaker Bux Singh. Hardoi is a place where agriculture is the backbone of everything, and we are just another part of that. We decided to form a producer company so we could have a better handle on our own crops and how they get sold. It is a direct way to work, without too many people in the middle. We are at 241001, right in the heart of the district. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Most of what we do is done face-to-face with other farmers in the area. We talk about the weather, the cost of fertilizer, and when the best time to sell is. It is a lot of responsibility to manage the collective goods, but we take it seriously. We are not polished or corporate. We are just people who know the land and want to make a living from it. The office is really just a place to store the papers and have meetings when we aren't out in the fields. We started this because we felt that by joining together, we could do more than we could alone. It is about the community in Krishan Nagar and making sure we all move forward. We keep things simple and try to be as practical as possible every day. It’s a lot to manage but it feels right for our local area.
