Monica Beauty Parlour

Monica Beauty Parlour is over in Ekta Colony, specifically in the Sikander Kampu area of Lashkar, Gwalior. It's a residential neighborhood, so most of the people who come to see us are women who live just a few streets away. We've been here for a while, providing a local space for hair, skin, and makeup needs. The shop is inside a regular building, and we’ve tried to make it comfortable enough for a long session or a quick visit. Gwalior can get quite busy, but Ekta Colony has its own pace. We handle the usual requests like threading, facials, and bridal makeup when the season comes around. It’s mostly just us working here, so we’ve gotten to know the families around Sikander Kampu pretty well. We see daughters growing up and coming in for their first haircuts, and then later for their wedding preparations. It’s a very personal business. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just our hands and the traditional tools of the trade. The walls have some old pictures and we have a few chairs that have seen a lot of use. We don't worry about being the most modern place in town; we just care about doing the work correctly.
