Shovina Family Salon

My family and I have been running Shovina Family Salon for a good while now here in Patel Nagar. If you know Gwalior, you know it gets really hot in the summers, so we keep the fans going all day. We are right at 681, just across from Gokul Apartment. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re driving through City Centre. Most of our regulars just walk over from the nearby houses when they need a trim or some basic work done. The shop isn't huge, but there is enough space for a few people to wait without bumping into each other. We try to keep things clean, though sometimes the dust from the road makes it a bit of a struggle. I usually handle the hair cutting and my sister helps out with the other stuff. We don't have any fancy machines or anything like that. Just the usual chairs, mirrors, and some decent scissors. People come in, tell us what they want, and we do it while talking about whatever is happening in the news. Sometimes the kids from the apartment come in for a quick haircut before school starts. It gets a bit loud on Saturdays when everyone is off work, but we like the noise. It feels like home to us, and we hope it feels okay for you too when you drop by. There’s no need to book weeks ahead, just show up.
