Geetanjali The Family Salon

Geetanjali The Family Salon is up in unit 203 of Fortune Plaza, which is right in the City Centre area of Gwalior. Since we are a family salon, we see everyone from kids getting their first haircut to older folks coming in for a trim. City Centre is one of the more modern parts of Gwalior, so it’s always quite busy with shoppers and people working in the offices nearby. Fortune Plaza is a big building and we’re on the second floor, so you have to take the lift or the stairs to get to us. It’s a decent-sized space compared to some of the smaller shops. We have different sections for different services. It’s usually pretty noisy in here with the hair dryers going and families talking while they wait. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the regular hair and skin services that most people need. We spend a lot of time organizing our supplies and making sure the towels are washed. Gwalior can get very hot, so we try to keep the salon at a comfortable temperature for everyone who comes in. We’ve been at this City Centre location for a while now and have a lot of families who come to us every month. It’s a pretty straightforward way to earn a living, just cutting hair and helping people look a bit neater. No big corporate stuff here, just us doing our thing day after day in Fortune Plaza.
