Khusbu Hair Salon

Our little shop, Khusbu Hair Salon, is situated on Bus Stand Road in Dabra. We are very close to the Gwalior - 475110 area, specifically right near the Nagar Palika building. Being so close to the bus stand means we get all kinds of people coming through our door throughout the day. Some are just passing through town and need a quick shave before their next trip, while others are regulars who have lived in Dabra their whole lives. We have a few simple chairs and some mirrors that have been here since we first started. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or expensive coffee. We just offer a decent haircut and a bit of conversation if someone feels like talking while they wait. The sound of the buses and the people outside at the Nagar Palika is always there in the background. We keep our scissors sharp and our combs in the blue liquid to keep them clean for every customer. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to finish a cut using the natural light from the doorway, but nobody seems to mind much. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights, just our name painted on the front. It’s a small business and we do everything ourselves, from cutting the hair to sweeping the floor at the end of the night. We like being on Bus Stand Road because there is always something interesting to see out the window.
