City Food Court

We are located on the 3rd Floor of the Din Dayal City Mall in Lashkar. It stays pretty busy up here. Usually, we see a lot of families who have been shopping or people who just finished walking around the zoo across the street. The food court is a large space and we have our spot among the other stalls. It gets noisy when the lunch crowd hits. We spend most of our day cleaning up tables and getting orders ready as fast as we can. Gwalior can get very hot, so the mall is a place where people come to cool off. Our staff is mostly local people who have been working here for a while. It’s not a fancy setup, just some counters and shared seating with the rest of the court. We see kids running around and groups of friends hanging out for hours. Sometimes the lines get a bit long on Saturday nights but that is just part of being in a popular mall. We keep things simple. You find us near the main elevators. There is nothing special about the way we do things, we just show up and keep the place running until the mall closes at night. It is a lot of work but it keeps us on our feet. If you are in Lashkar and need a bite while out, you will likely end up here at some point. The mall stays open late so we stay here until the lights go out.
