Alisha Mens Parlour

Alisha Mens Parlour is situated on Nai Sadak in the Lashkar area of Gwalior. You can find us right opposite Joshi Hospital. It’s a busy road with a lot of people walking by all day. Our shop isn’t very large, but we have enough space for a couple of chairs. We mostly do haircuts and beard trims. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't have a receptionist or anything. You just walk in and if a chair is free, you sit down. If not, there is a small space to wait. We have some old magazines lying around, though most people just look at their phones now. The shop is simple. We use regular clippers and scissors. It gets quite hot in the summers, but we have a cooler going. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers around Nai Sadak well. Gwalior is a place where people like to talk, so it’s rarely quiet in here. We don't try to be anything we are not. It’s just a place for men to get groomed. We don’t have fancy signs or expensive decor. Everything is practical. We’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us when they need a haircut. It's just a regular part of the street. We keep the mirrors clean and the razors sharp, and that is pretty much all there is to it. No fancy talk or extra stuff, just a shave and a cut for the neighborhood.
