Stem Garden

If you are looking for Stem Garden, you will find us in Dispur. We are located right by the Last Gate area, specifically just across the road from the Hotel Rajdhani Regency. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Guwahati, so most people don't have much trouble finding us. We deal with plants and all sorts of garden stuff, as you might have guessed from the name we chose. Our place is usually filled with green things, and I have to admit it can get a bit humid and warm inside during the summer months. We aren't part of any big chain or a fancy boutique shop. It is just a local place where we keep our plants and try to help people figure out what might actually grow in their own yards or on their apartment balconies. The staff here is just a small handful of people who actually enjoy working with dirt and seeing things grow. We spend a lot of our time watering, pruning, and moving heavy pots around the shop. Being near the Last Gate is quite handy because folks can easily stop by on their way home from work. We don't use any kind of high-tech systems for what we do. We just know our plants and what they need. The shop isn't always perfectly organized—there is usually a bag of soil left open somewhere or some leaf clippings on the floor. That is just the way it goes when you work with nature every day. We don't have any big mission or corporate goals.
