Our office is on the 6th floor of Divine Plaza on GS Road. It’s right in the Dispur area of Guwahati. You can see the Gupshup 94.3 FM station from our window. Being on the 6th floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the lift every day. The office is full of desks, computers, and stacks of paper resumes. We deal with people looking for jobs and companies looking for workers. It’s a lot of phone calls and typing. GS Road is always noisy with traffic, but it’s a bit quieter up here. We have a small pantry where we make tea or coffee. Most of the day is spent looking at computer screens or talking to people who walk in for interviews. It’s a practical space. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. Just some calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up for the week. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend half the morning trying to fix it. That’s just how it goes in a busy office. We’ve been in Divine Plaza for a while now. The staff is small, just a few of us trying to keep everything organized. We handle a lot of paperwork every single day. It’s not a very exciting job, but it’s important. We help people find where they need to be in their careers. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down over Guwahati.
