Eastern Green Pictures

Eastern Green Pictures is tucked away in 17A, Bhaskar Nagar, right near the Usha Court on Zoo Road in Guwahati. It’s a bit of a trek if the traffic on RGB Road is bad, which it usually is during the afternoons. We’ve been operating out of this small office for some time. We handle pictures and video stuff, mostly just trying to get things to look right on screen. It’s not a huge studio with flashing lights everywhere. Honestly, it’s mostly just us sitting at desks with a lot of hard drives and coffee mugs. The walls are kind of plain, and we have wires running across the floor that we keep meaning to tape down. We chose this spot because it's central enough for people to reach us. Sometimes we’re out on a shoot all day, so the office stays locked up until we get back. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except for the noise from the main road. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up from the computer to answer. We like it this way. It feels more like a workshop than a business office. We spend hours editing and re-editing until things feel okay. It’s just what we do here in Guwahati. It’s hard work and long nights, but we wouldn’t really want to be anywhere else right now.
