Mahadev Enterprises is right here in Hengrabari. If you know where the post office is, you basically know where we are. It’s a busy little pocket of Kamrup district. Being near the State Bank of India helps because people are always coming and going for their banking stuff, so there is always some noise outside. We started this place because we wanted to do something locally in the Tehsil Gmc area. It’s not a huge setup or anything fancy with glass walls and uniforms. Most days, it’s just us handling whatever comes our way. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a bit, but that’s just how it is around here. We try to keep things organized on our shelves even though it gets a bit cluttered when new stock arrives. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask for directions since we are so close to the bank. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. More cars on the road now than before. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who know the local ways. If you walk past the post office and see our sign, that’s us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple life running a business in this part of town, and we don't really mind the hustle. The monsoon rains usually slow everything down around the post office area, but we just deal with it.
