Zaitoon

You can find us over at the DLF Mega Mall, specifically in the D T Diner area on the first floor. Zaitoon is right there, nestled among all the other spots in the mall. It’s a different kind of vibe than a street shop because everything is so contained and the air conditioning is always on. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the mall's busy schedule. When the mall opens in the morning, we have to be ready for the first shoppers. D T Diner gets a lot of foot traffic, especially during the weekends when families come out to shop and walk around. We handle a lot of orders in a short amount of time. It’s a lot of coordination between the kitchen and the counter to keep things moving. Since we are in DLF City Phase I, we get a mix of people—shoppers, office workers, and kids. The lights in the mall are always bright, and there’s always music playing in the background from the main speakers. We just focus on our little corner at Mega Mall 1. Sometimes it feels like we are in our own little world inside the mall. We keep the setup simple and just try to make sure everyone gets their food without waiting too long in line. It’s a fast pace, and by the time the mall closes at night, we’re usually pretty tired. But then we do it all over again the next day. Zaitoon is just part of the daily mall routine.
