Kamla Retail Stores

Kamla Retail Stores is located at G 58 in the AMBI Mall which is part of Ambience Island. This is right on the NH 8 near Basai Enclave. Being in such a large mall means we are surrounded by a lot of other shops and a constant flow of people, especially on the weekends. The mall environment is very different from a street shop because of the air conditioning and the bright lights everywhere. Our store is one of many on the ground floor. We spend a lot of time arranging the items on the shelves and making sure the price tags are still attached. The walk from the parking lot to the store is quite long because Ambience Island is a huge place. We see all kinds of people here, from families out for a meal to shoppers looking for specific brands. Even though it is a modern mall, our daily routine is pretty much the same as any other shop. We open up, check the inventory, and wait for the shoppers to arrive. Sometimes the music from the mall corridors is a bit loud but we have gotten used to it by now. We don't have much space in the back for storage so we have to be careful about how much we order at one time. It is a busy spot to be in every day.
