Baweja Super Store (Bss)

We set up Baweja Super Store, or BSS as some people call it, right here in Uppal Southend. It’s actually located in Flat No. 5, Block R, on the floor above the main road area. It’s a bit unusual being in a flat, but it works for us since we mostly serve the people living in this residential block on Sohna Road. The living room is basically filled with shelves of pulses, spices, and snacks. We have boxes of soap and cleaning supplies stacked up near the balcony too. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment of drinks comes in, and we have to move the furniture around to fit everything. My wife handles most of the accounts while I look after the deliveries and the customers who drop by. We started this because we realized people in the building didn't want to drive out to the main market every time they ran out of milk or bread. It's a very local thing, and we know almost every kid who comes in to buy chocolate. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone calls and says they forgot something for dinner. It is not like a big supermarket with bright lights and uniforms. It’s just our home and our business mixed together. We like the convenience of it, and our neighbors seem to appreciate having us right here in the block.
