You can find Venkal Apparels Private Limited on the third floor of Tower-B in Spazedge on Sohna Road. It’s a busy part of Gurgaon, and there is always something going on downstairs. We moved into this office because we needed the space for all our samples and files. We deal with a lot of different apparel orders, so there are always boxes stacked up somewhere. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but we manage to get everything done. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets to make sure the production is on track. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation even though we are in a big tower. We are just regular people who know a lot about clothes and how they are made. Sometimes the elevators take forever, which can be annoying when we are in a hurry. We’ve had some long nights here, especially during the peak seasons when everyone wants their orders at once. We don't have a big mission statement. We just try to make sure the clothes are decent and that they get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of practical work and solving problems as they come up. We like the view from the third floor, though we don't often have time to look out the window. It is just us, doing our best to keep things moving every day.
