Van Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based at 826 in Phase-V of Udyog Vihar. Being in Udyog Vihar means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. It’s a very industrial environment. You see trucks and vans moving in and out all day long. Our building is a simple structure that fits right in with the rest of the street. Inside, it’s mostly about logistics and export work. We have a large area for storing goods before they get sent off. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the counts are right. It’s the kind of work where you have to pay attention to the details, or everything gets messed up later. The office part of the building is just a few rooms with desks and computers. It’s often quite noisy because of the machinery in the neighboring units. We don’t mind it much. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone knows their job. We aren't really set up for visitors, so there are no fancy sofas or coffee machines. We just have a kettle in the corner for making tea. Most of our day is spent communicating with transport companies and making sure the shipments are on schedule. It’s a lot of coordination. When the weather gets really hot, we just open all the doors and hope for a breeze. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve been at it in this same spot for years.
