Our office is over at Unitech House on the first floor in L-Block. It’s part of South City-I in Gurugram, which most people know is a pretty central spot in Haryana. The 122 001 pin code usually gets the mail here on time. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate sometimes depending on where you park your scooter or car. The building has been here for years. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We get a lot of light through the windows in the morning, which helps keep the mood okay even when there is a lot of paperwork to get through. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs to the first floor. It is quicker anyway. Gurugram is always changing, with new buildings going up all around South City-I, but our corner feels pretty settled. We have a small area for tea and coffee where people stand around and talk about their weekends or the traffic on the way in. It’s not a flashy place, just a regular office where we get our work done. Most of the staff has been here for quite some time, so we all know each other’s names and how we take our tea. It is just a normal workplace with people doing their jobs every day.
